What are your favourite activities to do on holiday?

To be honest, we love to explore, sleep and relax. Most of our exploring is going to the local markets and enjoying the local culture. We tend to accumulate a lot of steps!

What would you say is your favourite club destination?

We have two. Club Wyndham Denarau Island is one, because of the amazing resort and the lovely local people – they just are incredibly hospitable. The second is Club Wyndham Airlie Beach, as it’s a great location close to the beautiful Whitsunday Islands.

Do you like to plan your holiday out or make decisions spontaneously?

We like to make a general plan beforehand of a few activities we really want to do. That gives us the flexibility to change the schedule when we get there or include new attractions we find once we are there.

Do you like to keep busy on holiday or relax and tune out?

Relax and tune out initially to let the soul catch up – that can take a few days. Then go and explore and enjoy the local food and drink.

What have you learnt about travelling since becoming an owner?

We have learnt that we love to travel! We do it more each year and are glad we chose to become owners all those years ago.

What are your tips for people travelling with the club?

Plan and book early and then you have plenty of time to sit back and anticipate a great adventure! The thought of that next holiday will carry you through any difficulties life throws at you.

Which destination have you always wanted to travel to?

We have always wanted to visit Japan. It looks like a place with so much culture and history, and we both love the food!

If money and time was no problem, what sort of trip would you create for yourself?

We would probably book a three-month cruise and stay package, breaking up the cruise with stays at Club Wyndham properties or staying at a few either side of the cruise.

Which destination have you visited that you want to visit again?

Club Wyndham Airlie Beach to relax in a spacious room that has an exceptionally large balcony with great views. Last time, we enjoyed going into the town, choosing lunch from the many options available, and having a swim in the public lagoon.

Which would you say is the club property you visit the most?

That’s easy! Club Wyndham Denarau Island, at least once a year. It’s a great place to relax and the wonderful staff and locals make it feel like a second home.
