Kawaguchiko is a scenic destination known for its stunning views of Mount Fuji and cherry blossoms during spring. Of the five lakes near Mt. Fuji, Lake Kawaguchi is the easiest to access from Tokyo.

Witness the illuminated trees on the lake's northern shore during the Fuji-Kawaguchiko Cherry Blossom Festival in mid-April. For those who want to see the renowned Japanese macaques at the Snow Monkey Park, Kanbayanshi Onsen is a must-visit spot. The area not only features monkeys but also boasts cherry blossom trees that line the way from the bus stop to the park's entrance.
